The RTA Alumni Association, 'Immortals' was established to develop mutually beneficial professional and social networks between the RTA and its former employees.
The RTA respects and values the expertise, experience and commitment of its past and present staff. The Immortals website has been developed to help you maintain the lines of communication with former colleagues and to keep your finger on the RTA pulse.
Our Immortals will have the option to apply for short-term job opportunities, volunteer for RTA activities, attend events and engage with present and future leaders of the organisation by getting involved in mentoring or coaching.
I encourage you to draw on this resource and help us pave the way for the future organisation.

Welcome message from the Chair of the Immortals
As the newly elected Chair, I welcome you to the RTA Immortals – the re-invigorated Alumni Association.
As part of its re-invigoration process, the RTA has:

established a representative Management Committee – the i8 (Immortals, x 8 members);

opened up membership to all ex-RTA staff.
We are off to a great start as, after the first 2 ½ months since the website was launched in September 2006, we now have grown to over 1,200 former employees, “Immortals”, with membership growing daily. The RTA recognises that both former and currently serving employees have specialist skills, technical expertise and organisational experience that can be enhanced by staying in touch with former colleagues and the organisation.
The role of the Immortals is to cultivate professional, business and social links between Alumni members and the RTA. The Immortals provide opportunities for short-term employment, avenues for volunteering for RTA activities, events for Alumni members and the opportunity for mentoring future leaders of the organisation.
We always enjoy hearing about and celebrating the achievements and success of our former members. Please stay in touch and spread the word about “the Immortals” to other former employees with whom you are in contact.
